Frequently asked questions

Clear boundaries before a commission reaches the Ledger.

Can I arrange something regularly?

Yes. Choose a Task and mark it as recurring. Recurring commissions are reviewed individually by the House. We’ll be in touch to arrange terms before anything is confirmed. No recurring charge starts at intake.

What may I commission?

Ask for almost anything — if it can be found, arranged, or done somewhere in the world, we’ll try. Commission an Object for sourcing and delivery, or a Task for local arrangements and someone to act on your behalf.

What is out of scope?

We cannot handle unlawful, counterfeit, sanctioned, dangerous, prohibited, or regulated goods without the required licences. When a case cannot be accepted, we explain why and offer the required review fee back to its original method or as credit toward a future commission.

What does the review fee cover?

It reserves a human review of your brief: $5 for an Object, $10 for a Task. The work is quoted separately. The required review fee is refundable or transferable if we cannot accept the case; any additional Ledger contribution is optional.

Do I need an account?

You may complete the entire brief first. At submission, create an account or sign in so your commission, address, quote, and progress remain together.

How do I check a case?

Use the random Case Number and Access Code sent privately to your email, or sign in to your customer desk to view all of your cases.

Can I change my name on the Ledger?

Yes. Email us from the address used for the contribution and we will update the public display name.

Is there anything you will not display on the Ledger?

A name that does not suit the tone of the page is displayed as Anonymous. Standing and earned privileges remain unchanged.
